Keri, at our church, is amazing. She does more than any of us realize! We've had a couple of great conversations when we had a few minutes between services and on fb, etc, but when we chatted about maybe getting together one day at the park for lunch and play, I was stoked! We finally found a date :-)
It was a beautiful day! And the kids were excited to try out a "new park" (Gwinnett has SO many!). The playground area there is great, although I felt a bit stressed and had a hard time visiting with Keri because of the play area being so LARGE! The kids didnt want to play in the same area at the same time, so I was super grateful for Keri's sons who helped me keep an eye on them!
After lunch we decided to walk around the park to get back to our cars to help the kids get out some more energy. And found a couple of great spots for a few pictures! Look at how pretty of a day it was!
When Mack was only a few months old, we did the yearly Ford family pictures at this tree! Unfortunately, our photographer was kind of just getting started and got an angle that picked up an ugly bush and the roof of a house in the background, but isnt this a cool tree?! So pretty and so much shade. This particular day, though, that grassy area was about overrun with gnats! Ewww! They were swarming!
We had a great time and the kids loved the park. And I loved hanging out and making a new friend!
