Vacation: Pool Fun!

We had decided to put the kids in swim lessons before we went on vaca this year... and I'm SO glad we did! From the first day, our kids were like fish in the water! Rhyan, of course, loved wearing her goggles (and cracked us up!). The only problem with our little girl fishie: NO fear! She would jump in without any kind of floatation device and WITHOUT letting anyone in the pool know but with the intentions of swimming to them. You'd look around and she'd have made it ALMOST to you and be struggling. Scared us all to death. We had LOTS of talks about letting an adult know when you're ready to try to swim!

Mack went from not letting anyone put him down (earlier in the summer) to not wanting anyone to hold him! He loved his froggy floater and would jump in and literally "swim" wherever he wanted to go. It was fantastic!

Avery loved the water too!!! We dunked her a couple of times and she did great! Shes at an age where she pretty much has to be held (i'm thinking she didnt like the float?) but overall did awesome!

We loved having the pool practically to ourselves most days!!!
