Memorial Day Weekend!

One of our FAVORITE holiday's is Memorial Day. Random, right? But the Dacula Memorial Day Parade is just such a staple for our family! Every year, we enjoy finding a spot on Main Street and watching our little town put on a great parade!

This year, we got to enjoy the parade with our good friends the NASH's! The kids loved getting to hang out and it was fun to spend time together (in slight misery for us girls being so large and in charge!)

My goodness... Rhyan and those sunglasses just kill me! She looks so CUTE! Such a diva with that big hair, too!

We had a little while to walk around and just get to see some of the things on the square before the start of the parade. It was really hot so we didnt walk around much. Last year we took our tent with us and had some nice shade! But it got destroyed at the beach so we were without shade this year (we got another one before going to the beach...). We did bring some umbrellas though and made do with that :-)

THIS guy got one of the bigger rounds of applause. LOL! The pooper scooper for the horses!

And how cute is it that this dog was showing her USA colors, too?!

As always, the most moving part of the parade was the walk of the fallen soldiers.

My COUSIN! Ethan was rocking out in Dacula's drumline! (Btw, he made drum line as a FRESHMAN in hs... he's a Junior now but he's seriously talented!)

As always, as soon as the parade was over there came the clouds and it cooled off a little bit. HA!

We had a great time at the parade, followed by a cookout at Shlaine's house with some fun swimming!
We are blessed with such good friends and family for sure :-). And to live in an amazing country!
