Educators Day Aquarium Style

First off, I'd like to dedicate this picture heavy post to my cute cousin and avid blog reader, Lydia! She's been complaining lately that my blog has "too many words" :-) Well, Lyida, this post will have a few words, but mostly PICTURES! Just to please you, my dear...

Back in Mid-September, the aquarium hosted "educators day". Teachers, plus one, could get in for free to the aquarium AND the world of coke! I purchased a ticket for Rhyan for $28 (a "total ticket") ahead of time and we were thrilled that Mack is too young to require a ticket.
All 4 of us getting into the aquarium AND world of coke for less than thirty dollars? YES, PLEASE!!!

We got up early and grabbed a few chicken biscuits at cfa and made it to the aquarium by 8:15am! We wanted to get there early in anticipation of it being crowded and it was definitely good thinking/planning. There was practically no one there 1st thing in the morning! We used the lack of crowd as an opportunity to go ahead and let Mack walk around and explore, knowing he would get sick of the stroller pretty quickly.

We started off in the frog exhibit and ran into none other than a patient of mine, Candice, and her family! Ironically, Candice is the person who told me about educators day to start with! Her son, Cristian is a DOLL and it was so fun to get to see them!
Seeing as how my kids are obsessed with Nemo, we HAD to have a pic! :-)

Dude,it is SO hard to get a pic with both kids looking!

DORY!!!

NEMO! (the whole reason Rhyan wanted to go... we kept trying to help her to remember that this nemo doesnt talk! haha)

Mack was more interested in the air vents that were blowing out air. LOL

Again, we ran into my friend Candice and Cristian!

The kids LOVED the tube maze!

We all could have actually have seen the dolphin show at 11am, but honestly, we were DONE at the aquarium long before then... so we headed on over to the World of Coke!

When we first walked in, there was a LONG line to see the world of coke bear... but we waited around and looked around a bit and hit up the line when it got short (right before the next group came in). Rhyan was scared (shocker!) but said she did want a pic with him... hmmm... until we got up there. Then, BOTH kids freaked out and started crying! OH, the joys of babies :-)

The international tasting room! Btw, the ONLY good coke is american coke :-) Skip the rest...
Rhyan wanted this purse... made out of all coke tops... $120! OMG, put it down! haha... no touching!
And apparently we wore Mack slap out :-)
Rhyan was being so sweet and "petting" her brother :-)

It was a busy, fun filled morning for sure!!!
