Lainey Reulet: 6 Months

OH. MY. GOOODNESS! My sweet girl turned SIX months old Feb 14th... our little valentine! :-)

Little Lainey Reulet is just the sweetest baby! We love having her as a part of our family! Her 5th month of life was full of growth and changes and fun!

OH Wait! Did you see me eating the monkey!?!

HA! It was funny, right?! ;-)

... Cause I'm soooooooo cute!

Ok... lets get down to Business with Lainey's 6 month stats from her Dr's office!

Length: 26.25" long (67%)
Weight: 17lbs 6oz (73%)

At 6 months old, Lainey is:

• in 3-6 months clothing still
• in size 2 diapers, but they are getting snug. When we finish this box we are moving up
• on a 4 hour schedule each day, starting the day around 7am and going to bed around 7:15pm
• on 5mL prilosec twice a day
• SQUEALING! Man, she's super quiet usually, but she can get LOUD!
• Rolling back to tummy to BOTH sides now (Started going to the left feb 12th)
• napping 9-11, 1-3ish and 5:30-6 (Shortened the last nap this month)
• primarily a tummy sleeper now! I put her on her back and she rolls immediately over!
• blowing raspberries like crazy. What a MESS! (literally and figuratively!)
• sitting tripod for short periods of time and gets fussy after a bit of it...
• struggled some with sleep this past month...
• is really starting to laugh a LOT now! So super cute. She's a tough one to impress and make laugh and is generally just super observant, so its nice that she's responding so much more now!

Rhyan is THE BEST big sister! She seriously is like a 2nd little Mommy to Lainey. If she cries, she takes her a toy or plays with her and tries to make her smile. She's learned how to pick her up SAFELY (only with us around) by sitting in front of lainey while she's laying on her back. Rhyan sits on her bottom with her legs out to the side and then puts laineys' legs on each side of her waist, then puts one hand behind her head and one behind her back and gently lifts Lainey up to her. She was SO proud the first time she did it and LOVES to "hold" her this way. She feels so big! And Lainey genuinely seems to LOVE it! So sweet. I love seeing my sweet kids hearts for their little sister! ITs the most precious thing to me!

And Lainey loves having big siblings... till she's tired of it. Then, she's over the extra love. HA!

And of course the kids think she should have her pic made with allllll the stuffed animals they can find!

We are having so much fun with our little Lainey Rue! She is just the sweetest baby and we are grateful for her fun and chill little personality for sure! What a perfect addition and caboose to our train ;-)

Fair Fun!

We  The kids and I LOVE the fair! As a kid, we went every year. Most years  (as I got older and could ride most of the rides) we went TWICE! Once to ride rides and once to EAT ;-). This year, we met up with Jason and Liz and Avery and let the kids (and the boys) ride together, which they thought was great fun!

This worm roller coaster thing was THE ride Mack was obsessed with last year. He was not tall enough to ride it solo, though... he had to ride with an adult. Meaning after we had paid an ungodly amount for the kids all you can ride stamps, we had to spend another small chunk on some tickets for Jeff to be able to ride with Mack. This year, we were hoping he would be able to ride with Rhyan solo, but no such luck!

Rhyan had her own spot right in front of Jeff but the fair worker moved her to a spot with another girl (way up at the very front, far away from Mack and Jeff) and she was NOT happy about it :-(

And then Mack was NOT happy to have to get off when it was all over. Gosh, he's cute even when he's pouting. HA! But i dont appreciate the pouting, no doubt...

And then once again, he wasnt  too happy about this ride, either.

Avery wasnt really digging ALL the rides... so she took a ride on her Daddy's back for a bit!

AHHH! Cousins! Youknow, I was pretty close to my cousins growing up (it helped that we all grew up next door!) so its so special tome to see these sweet faces together!

My babies LOVE the swings!

The kids enjoyed the 4H petting zoo, as always and I loved these sweet pictures of them petting chicks!

And i used the opportunity to feed little Lainey and rest (get her off of my chest in the carrier) for a few minutes!

THIS ride was the one I was MOST looking forward to the kids trying out! They wouldnt do it last year but I was really hoping they'd be up for it this go round b/c i KNEW if they did, they'd love it!

And they TOTALLY DID!

Gran and Grandad met us up there for a little while, as well. We enjoyed some grub, as usual, and headed home to get Lainey in bed on time. It was a great first fair as a family of 5! It sprinkled for a little bit, but nothing bad last year and I was afraid of the same this year, but it was a nice warm and sunny day!
