A visit from Ashley!!!

OH, how i love my cousin, Ashley.We grew up pretty much together b/c her parents divorced when she was really little (3?) and they moved in with us until she was about 7 when they moved next door :-)

So you can imagine my horror sadness when she was persuaded by her boyfriend (now fiance) to move to OHIO with him to be closer to his family. Oh, the sadness. I mean, who would i find as a great last minute, super cheap babysitter who would be firm with Rhyan and make her go to bed even if she cried?! HA!

Well, with mommie's stroke in April, Ashley (At the prompting of her fiance who "stole" her from us... big points, Austin) came home for an unscheduled visit. This was her first time seeing my kids since Christmas and Mack has changed SO much! We felt so blessed that our house was the first stop they made :-)

I was literally getting ready to put mack to bed when they showed up from their 10 hour drove! Definitely worth keeping him up a little late!

Here's the thing... anyone who knows Mack knows he goes to NO ONE from me except maybe tracy, mama and maybe his daddy. But this night he went right to Ashley and was SO sweet and cuddly! How precious!!! We were both so grateful for his willingness to love on her :-)

Ashley, we miss you around here! I feel badly that when you were here we didnt spend more time with you! So come on home and you can live in our bonus room visit anytime you want :-) WE LOVE YOU!!!
