Easter!!!

It was SO nice of my in-laws to let us stay with them over Easter weekend! We really had a great time and they were so kind to open their home and let us kind of take it over with our mess and loud family! The kids loved it, too, and Mack had a great time wearing Grandad's hat pretty much all weekend :-)

We started off Easter morning by making something I had found on (where else?) pinterest. I'm pretty bad about pinning a thousand things that we never do, but this one was fun! We rolled a marshmallow in melted butter and then in cinnamon/sugar and then wrapped it in a crescent roll. Then sprinkled cinnamon/sugar on the crescent roll and baked it. When it was done, the marshmallow had melted leaving an "empty tomb". Too cute. And they were YUMMY!

After we got the rolls in the oven, we brought out Mack and Rhyan's Easter baskets!

They loved their baskets and it was so fun watching them explore it all!!!

We headed to church and then went back to our house for lunch and naps. We had literally NO furniture in the house b/c the floors had just be re-poly'd on Friday and furniture wouldnt be replaced till Monday. So we had a picnic on a blanket in the living room! We were having an early dinner with my family (who lives half a mile away) so we didnt want to drive all the back to Lawrenceville...

Of course I wanted to try to get one family pic!

And just ONE good pic of the kids... but they werent having it!  Oh well!

After naps we headed to Mommie's house for Easter dinner! We had so much food! It was delish!

And after dinner, we had invited Taylor and Shleby over for an easter egg hunt! My Mommie actually came up with the idea of inviting them over and I'm SO glad she did! The kids had a GREAT time!

This one is too cute with Mack giggling at Taylor. They are so sweet to my boy!

I loved Liz's idea of the golden egg from her egg hunt so we copied it!

Mommie bought a prize for 1. The golden Egg winner 2. Who collected the most and 3. Who collected the least. But that left one kid not getting something. SO, we found a 4th prize for Mack (who surprisingly found MORE eggs than Rhyan, only because she again would only pick pink and purple!)

We had a wonderful Easter weekend with family and friends and are so grateful that Jesus is ALIVE!
