The park is SO great! The play area is nice and shady and its just a beautiful, clean park! When we first arrived around 10am, the arriving kids were just playing and enjoying the playground...
It was a chilly morning so we were glad to have packed some long sleeves for the weekend!
It wasnt long before the egg hunt began! Kids 2 and under got a two minute head start... Mack caught on quickly and was packing in the eggs! (btw, i forgot their baskets at the house and we had to make a stop by the dollar store which is why he got stuck with a purple pail)
Rhyan would ONLY pick the pink and purple eggs... silly girl! She would pass 10 eggs to get to one pink!
Look who showed up at the party! The kids werent too sure of the easter bunny... friendly as he was!
The ONLY egg that Rhyan picked that wasnt pink or purple was THIS jewel... the "golden egg"! YAY!
Look at how cute the treats were! These cookies were crazy yummy! And of course, peeps!
COUSINS!
Gran, Grandad and all the grandkids!
I love this pic of my in laws! They are still flirting and having fun after "40 million years" of marriage!
Rhyan LOVED these little things that spin you around without you even trying! She was dying for me to do it, too, so as silly as I looked, I obliged. Till she fell off one which made me laugh and fall off one ;-)
And this shows just how DIFFICULT it is to get a good pic of my family... geesh!
So glad Rhyan had a playmate;-)
We had SUCH a great time and I have a feeling that, convenient or not, we WILL be making it to next years, too!
