Rehearsal for the Murphy Wedding

"Ashen" and Josh are two of Rhyan's favorite people. They have been her Sunday School teachers at church for the last 1.5 years! I remember when she first moved up to their class and she was very shy around Josh. She wasnt so sure about him! But now? She thinks he's the best! She looooves her Josh :-) Josh and Ashlyn have been dating for 4 years and have been engaged for about 1.5 years of it... we've been so excited for them as they've been preparing for married life! So you can only imagine our excitement when they asked if RHYAN would be their FLOWER GIRL!!! They also asked me to sing in their wedding and I was happy to do so, but we were mostly excited about Rhyans role! haha.

The day of the rehersal dinner (easter weekend) it was pretty chilly! So while you'll notice that Rhyan is dressed kind of warm while the flower girls are in summer attire, trust me when i say they were freezing and Rhyan was quite comfortable.
It was BRIGHT!!!
Rhyan and her Josh
Ok, Ashlyn can be in the pic too :-)
Having fun practicing being introduced for the first time as Mr and Mrs!
So, we practiced for a good LONG time on how she would walk down the aisle and throw out flowers. Lets just say that I was a little worried and made my disclaimer that night that I was NOT responsible for her actions on the wedding day. For example: each time she practiced going down the aisle she yelled "Hey GUYS! Look at ME! I gonna throw the flowers! Watch!". She's quite the narrator :-)
They gave her a fun Thomas the Train Take and Play, which she loved!
And a Thomas puzzle which she REALLY loved!!!

My baby girl ALWAYS stops to smell flowers no matter where we are. Its something i LOVE about her.
We had a great time at the rehearsal for the wedding. Rhyan loved getting to meet all of the bridesmaids and was a little bit of a show off for them, which they loved. We skipped out on the dinner in order to get home in time for a semi-decent bedtime, knowing that she wouldnt get a nap on Saturday (which we were *hoping* would go ok!). She talked about being the flower girl the whole way home and was so excited. And I was excited to see how she would actually do IN the wedding....

more to come!
