A visit to Santa at Bass Pro

Last year, we started the "tradition" of visiting Bass Pro's Santa for a yearly picture. Long before we had kids, Jeff said "we're not going to be those parents who make our kid go see santa and take a pic of them while they cry, are we?". To which I promptly replied, "of course!". Happy or terrified, memories are memories :-)
Rhyan had her pic done last year in her p.j.'s that she wore Christmas night and so i wanted to continue that, as well. We decided to go on a Thursday evening when they wouldnt be so crowded, but it didnt quite work as planned. She was sick the week we were wanting to go so we ended up going on Friday instead (which still probably wasnt too smart, but we had to just go if we were going to...). You have to get a bass pass time slot when you get there and even though we left early so we could get an early time, we still got a 7:30 time slot :-( Rhyan is normally in bed by then and remember, too, that she was not feeling 100% so we were really pushing it.
So, we went to dinner at carabba's (YUM!) and headed back for her pic. Luckily, they let us get in line early and we were in and out BEFORE 7:30! She definitely clung to me when i went to give her to santa, but she really did like him from a distance, i promise! :-) Anyways, here were our couple of pics from the evening:

Overall, Rhyan did great. Literally the second i picked her back up she quit whining and waved bye to him. And we have our token pic, which is what really matters :-)
