Disney! Headed Home and EASTER Weekend!

We truly did enjoy our trip to Disney!I have to give mega props to Mandy Mrozek who was our disney travel agent and Emily Parker whose experience with kids my own kids age at Disney was absolutely priceless! Her advice on what to do and what to skip was spot on and I appreciated SO much her willingness to help me plan and to return texts at ridiculous times of the day/night to help me out! :-)

We got up early and got all packed up and headed down to buy a few last minute souvenirs and some breakfast with our last remaining snack credits (which work great for breakfast pastries and milk!). And we were OFF! We waved Bye to Disney, knowing it'll likely be a while before we get back!

The kids honestly were SO good on the drive home! They both took pretty good naps after lunch and Jeff and I enjoyed the quiet :-) However, we hit some traffic on the way home and let me tell you, Jeff hates traffic. He would much prefer to go a longer way on back roads/scenic route than to be tapping brakes constantly on the express way! So... we took a while to get home. And I was so proud of all of us for behaving so well! HA!
When we got home, i was in awe of how beautiful the property had become over the week of us being gone! Azaleas and our cherry tree were in full bloom and it really made it a joy to come home to! Plus, it was EASTER Weekend!!! Woohoo! I had bought everything for the kids easter baskets before our trip so it was easy to put it all together when we got home :-) (no worries about the kids reading this... we've never done the easter bunny tale's. Easter is one holiday i just refuse to corrupt with our cultures "fibs"... its ALL about Jesus in our house! But we do get baskets for the kids just as a way for them to not feel jipped as they get older and as a way for us to just say that we celebrate in lots of ways the fact that Jesus is ALIVE!)

We had a fantastic service at church that morning! Bethlehem served over 2000 people Easter Weekend in our services! In fact, we ended up literally sitting on the BACK row of the church that morning as opposed to our usual 2nd row seats because it was so full... and we were EARLY to church! HA!

We tried to get a few pics of the kiddos' in front of the pretty thrift before they changed clothes :-)

Yes, I know Rhyan's hair was crazy and windblown and doesnt look brushed. Ugh. She wont let me put ANYTHING in it! No bows. Now headbands. Nothing.  She also insisted on her outfit regardless of the fact that it was still too big. And it was pretty cool out that morning but she refused a sweater. I'm telling you, the girl is a diva ;-).

We had a really nice weekend as we got unpacked from the trip and continued unpacking from our crazy move the week before!

Jesus is ALIVE! Just in case, here in July, you had not yet heard ;-)
