Shlaine and Steve had a pool put in last summer! It didnt get finished till July, though, so there wasnt a whole lot of time to enjoy it. This year, it rained so much that it was hard to find time, too! But one Sunday afternoon, She invited us over to let the kids swim and have a little cook out!
I was SO proud of Rhyan for just jumping right in and having a great time! She was so fun to watch!
... and then there was Mack.
Youknow, one day we are going to look back and think "gosh, its crazy how high maintenance he was as a toddler cause he's our EASIEST kid now!". But thats not happened yet ;-)
Pretty much as long as someone held him, he was ok. Not great, but ok. But the second you let him go...

We set Mommie up by the pool with an umbrella and she enjoyed putting her toes in the water. :-)
Rhyan loved floating around, holding onto this little basket and trying to get the ball into the hoop! ha!
Shlaine and Steve were so patient with Mack and all of his fussing. They let him play on the stairs :-)

After swimming for a bit, we indulged in some YUMMY food as we sat out on their back porch. It was so nice to visit with family, enjoy good food, and wear our kids OUT!
