Work Christmas Get Together

I love the girls I work with. Like, legit love. I trust them and feel sure that they would do anything they could for me (and the feeling is mutual). They're supportive and kind. And while we all may get on one another's nerves while at work from time to time, we are great friends. So our Christmas get together each year is so great :-)

This year, they insisted I bring the kids. I really prefer to NOT bring them to everything b/c of the fact that they both still really neeeed naps and things like this tend to interrupt naps. In fact, the girls even said that they were so proud that i let the kids miss naps and come. For the record, its not that i'm against missing naps b/c i'm stuck on a schedule (although i do love a schedule! ha)... its because its usually not worth it. Meaning, they're boogers and are no fun.
But overall, they did well. Rhyan did great, actually! But Mack turned into a little booger after a while (i mean, he had been up for 3 hours after having 4 shots in his 6 month checkup! OUCH!)

We tried to get a group shot. It was interesting trying to get everyone set up. Mack... well...
Thank goodness he found his thumb ;-)
The funniest part about the girls I work with is their creativity! We always rag on Lydia about her daughter, Melina, being such a princess (she spoils her! haha). So when we found out that Melina would be joining us, the girls all decided to dress up since they were meeting a princess!
I skipped out on the fun (and melissa had already changed by the time i remembered to get a pic!) b/c Mommie had fallen that morning and broken her knee cap. I was terrified that it was bad but she seems ok now (after surgery and now undergoing rehab). But arent they pretty!?

I'm so grateful for these gals. Btw, Dr Cohen and his wife are jewish which is why we have our own get together w/o them. Plus, its fun to not worry about what the boss might think of your crazy shenanigans like dressing up in prom dresses to meet a princess ;-)
