Hallie's life is so amazing already. She has a cleft palate and lip, yet has drank from a bottle! She is such a little fighter. All I know so far is that at birth her heartbeat was strong and she is breathing on her own.

No one but her creator knows what this little girl faces. What her parents and grandparents and all who love her will face. But this promise we can hold to be true:

"Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations" Deuteronomy 7:9
